MY STORY
Paul died suddenly and unexpectedly the month after our daughter's high school graduation, leaving behind our shocked and heartbroken family.  Before moving to Ithaca, NY in 2002, we lived in Morris and Essex Co., NJ for a long time.  And so I am grateful to be able to begin our virtual relationship with Good Grief with this fundraiser.  And especially grateful to begin to be able to access some support for our family virtually as well.

We are excited to be participating in Good Grief's virtual event, Steps to Resilience! Resilience, much like a muscle, needs to be built over time to grow stronger. Steps to Resilience is an opportunity for us to fill each day with victories and milestones, no matter how small, while creating community at a time when isolation and loneliness are all around us.

This event raises critical funds for the 1,100+ grieving individuals who use Good Grief's free and unlimited programs each year. Your gift shows every child and every loss matter, especially during this challenging time.

RAISING MONEY FOR...
Good Grief builds resilience in children, strengthens families, and empowers communities to grow from loss and adversity.

Good Grief is 100% privately funded, and our programming is free of charge to all of our participants for as long as they need our support. In the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, grieving and isolated families need Good Grief's support more than ever.

The critical funds raised by Steps to Resilience allow us to continue to provide uninterrupted virtual support for our families, develop COVID-19 resources for our entire community, and build a more resilient and hopeful community.

Because every child and every loss matter, we work tirelessly to ensure no child ever has to grieve alone. We could not do this work without your support, so thank you for helping us put the Good in Grief!
