We are excited to be participating in the Good Grief Steps to Resilience Virtual 5K Event. Funds raised from this event will be used to provide unlimited and free support to children, teens, young adults, and families after the death of a mother, father, sister, or brother through our peer support programs, education, and advocacy. Especially now, during this period of unprecedented loss due to the current pandemic, Good Grief's services will be in even more demand.
Our family has found Good Grief to be so helpful after losing our beloved Gage. After over three years without Gage, it doesn't get any easier, you just learn how to live without your loved one. Meeting with people in similar circumstances and sharing unfiltered feelings, strategies for coping with the loss and just knowing we are not alone in this new life has been so comforting. There are many families that cannot afford therapy after such a tragic event, and having this free service available is, in many cases, life saving for the surviving family members.
Please feel free to register under our team, Gage's Gang, and participate in this virtual fundraising event from May 8th through June 7, 2020. Any support to ensure the funding of Good Grief's mission continues would be greatly appreciated.

Good Grief builds resilience in children, strengthens families, and empowers communities to grow from loss and adversity.
Good Grief is 100% privately funded, and our programming is free of charge to all of our participants for as long as they need our support. In the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, grieving and isolated families need Good Grief's support more than ever.
The critical funds raised by Steps to Resilience allow us to continue to provide uninterrupted virtual support for our families, develop COVID-19 resources for our entire community, and build a more resilient and hopeful community.
Because every child and every loss matter, we work tirelessly to ensure no child ever has to grieve alone. We could not do this work without your support, so thank you for helping us put the Good in Grief!
