Losing Lou left all of us with such heartache, pain, sadness, anger, and feeling "different"....not knowing where we now belonged. We were so blessed to be introduced to Good Grief shortly after his death, and then became part of Good Grief community in January 2019. Good Grief is an amazing and unique organization that provides grief support for families just like ours. Through this group we have found a community; a safe place to share our feelings and learn skills to build resilience. Through our experience at Good Grief, we have learned that we are not alone!
Good Grief provides us each of us with our own biweekly support group, with various family activities throughout the year, and an amazing week long camp for Louie and Max (Angelina looks forward to attending when she is old enough!). We would not have this kind of support or opportunity for building community without Good Grief.
We are so grateful and honored to be participating in Good Grief's virtual event, Steps to Resilience! Resilience, much like a muscle, needs to be built over time to grow stronger. Steps to Resilience is an opportunity for us to fill each day with victories and milestones, no matter how small, while creating community at a time when isolation and loneliness are all around us.
This event raises critical funds for the 1,100+ grieving individuals who use Good Grief's free and unlimited programs each year. Your gift shows every child and every loss matter, especially during this challenging time.

Thank you so much!
