I have been on NECPAD for a number of years, currently as the groups Secretary. I also have Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) one of the diseases NECPAD supports. Over the years NECPAD has helped me and as executive board member I have helped others with the funds that we have gotten from the 5K over the years. It has been amazing to see the impact it has had on the families. From organizing networking events, to helping members with co-payments, small appliances, cookbooks, helping them continue their education, and other unique medical financial assistance we have been able to help with.
Now we ask you to help us continue in our mission during this year's 5K. Please give what you can.

We, the New England Connection for PKU and Allied Disorders (NECPAD), will engage the Boston-area Phenylketonuria (PKU) and local running communities in a 5k walk/run. Our aim is to bring these communities together, spread PKU awareness and raise funds for NECPAD to continue to support our community, and ongoing PKU related research.
