Cecelia Margules is a prolific poet and songwriter.  Over the years Cecelia has authored many lyrics for prominent Jewish singers, including Gad Elbaz and Dudu Fischer. Cecelia is a daughter of Holocaust survivors, Sarah and Moses Berkowitz a"h.  Cecelia is an advocate for Holocaust education. Together with her husband Rubin, they are patrons of the Yossi Berger Holocaust Education Center at the Appleman Emunah College of Art and Technology, in Baka, Israel.  The program is for students in the teachers college who learn how to teach children about the Holocaust through the arts.

Through music, Cecelia has produced many storytelling videos that have impacted millions of viewers world-wide.  Cecelia, now more than ever, understands the need to educate the next generation about the Holocaust and the evils of racism. Recently, Cecelia produced a video in memory of her mother. Cecelia says "My mother loved life; she loved her family. But she never forgot and she never allowed the world to forget. I will never forget her." And thanks to Cecelia and her efforts, the world will never forget.
