Hello friends, In August of 2013 my sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After tests it was found she had a mutation in the BRCA gene. Once this was found out my brother, parents and I also were tested. I too tested positive for the BRCA 1 mutation. I did what I needed to do and had my ovaries removed.
