As many of you know I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer in April of 2014. Imagine my shock of first being told I had cancer but then add to it a cancer that I had never heard of! Fortunately after having surgery to remove the tumors I am now NED (No evidence of Disease)but continue to be monitored closely. I am so excited to be participating in the 4th Annual Carolina Strides for Stripes Zebra Walk . Money raised from this event will be used for programs that assist Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Cancer (NET) patients, such as our NET Cancer Hotline, Patient Conferences, and educational webinars.
