Important Announcement:
TLS 1.0 Support Discontinued

As of November 1, 2016, PBCS Technology will discontinue support of the TLS 1.0 encryption protocol across our 3 platforms – Wizevents, Wizadjournal and Wizathon. The discontinuation of TLS 1.0 is being undertaken so we can maintain the highest security standards and promote the safety of your data as well as align with industry-wide best practices.  These industry-wide best practices are set by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Council and you can view their latest mandate here.

How will this affect you and your site visitors?
Since most computers and browsers are being updated automatically to the latest versions, this discontinuance of TLS 1.0 will affect very few users. We want to emphasize that the security risks of continuing to support TLS 1.0 strongly outweigh the small percentage of visitors using old or out-of-date browsers.
If a site visitor is using an out-of-date or unsupported browser, they won’t be able to access a Wizevents, Wizadjournal or Wizathon page or they will see a security warning when trying to access the page.

Visitors using Windows XP or Vista with Internet Explorer will not be able to access our sites. You can advise them to try to install Mozilla Firefox or Chrome.
