What does pledging to this event mean, exactly?
By committing to this event, and pledging to raise money for its success, you are helping Bikur Cholim raise invaluable funds to channel the chesed of our community to support patients and their families from near and far and lighten their burden by providing food, transportation, visitation, respite, kosher hospitality rooms in area hospitals, dedicated apartments for out-of-town cholim, free-loan medical equipment and other services.

We wish you all the success possible. Train, set, and achieve new goals, and most importantly - enjoy! Get all the sponsors you can, so when you cross that finish line, we will all be winners – you, Bikur Cholim, and all the people in our community and beyond that will benefit from your help!
How much money do I have to raise?
Fundraising commitment is $180. Additional donations are not required, but are very much encouraged, appreciated, and certainly NEEDED.   Think of the Power of 10…if you ask 10 friends and family members to each donate at least $18 to your efforts, you could raise $180 or more.  That will make an impact!  With your support, we can continue to carry out our “Mission of Kindness”!
How can my Sponsors submit payment?
Online contributions can be made by credit card on the rider’s personalized page found on our website at: http://www.bikercholim.org/.  Just make sure to tell your sponsors to select your name from the list.
Is my sponsor's donation tax-deductible?
Yes!  All money raised goes to Bikur Cholim to ease the burden of the ill and their families through a host of services.  Biker Cholim is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  Please email bccyclists@gmail.com to request a tax-deductible receipt of your donation.  Please direct your sponsor to do the same once he or she has made the donation to your ride.
Can a Sponsor pay by check?
Yes!!!  A sponsor can mail a check made out to Bikur Cholim of Baltimore and indicate the rider's name in the memo line of the check.  The check should be mailed to Raisey Feigenbaum, 2329 Farringdon Road, Baltimore, MD 21209.
