On September 10th, we will be walking in honor of our beloved Ryan "Marto" Martin. His departure from our lives has left a void no one will fill. We miss his smile, the conversations, humorous texts, and just his companionship in our lives.
We learned we were not the only ones trying to "put one foot in from of the other" each day. That's when Stephy's Place was recommended to us. And it quickly became an important place...because no one else understands like someone else with a similar experience.
Stephy's Place is a setting where people who've lost a loved one help one another process the emotional and mental pain that comes with grief. It is nonprofit organization with support services free to those struggling with loss.
And Ryan… "We'll meet and live and laugh again. I'll see you in my dreams"

The money raised will be used to continue to provide free peer support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one.
