This is the fifth year I will be participating in "A Mourning Walk".  Money raised from this event will be used to provide free peer support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one. I am a facilitator at Stephy's Place for loss of spouse group and I know how important having this support is. Grieving is hard work and Stephy's Place provides a safe place to do this work. I lost my dear husband Bob (RXK) 13 years ago. I wish Stephy's Place had existed back then.  It's important to remember that we don't move on from our grief, we move forward with it. As we heal our hearts grow bigger. There is hope and the ability to live a happy life and to love again. Bob's birthday was September 15 and I love that "A Mourning Walk" takes place around his birthday. Such a great way to remember him.  He is missed everyday and in our hearts always. Please walk with me on this special day!
