I am so excited to be participating in the A Mourning Walk for the fourth year in honor of Sheraz Deen & CJ Morgan! On June 6th, 2019 my beloved boyfriend Christopher "C.J." Morgan tragically passed away in a military vehicle training accident in West Point, NY. He was 22 years old, going into his last year at the United States Military Academy, was a part of the West Point wrestling team, and was loved by more than imagined.
We are also honoring another beautiful soul who was taken from us too soon. My best friend Ellie's mother, Sheraz, passed away in January of 2021. Sheraz was an independent, confident, loving, hardworking, giving mother, mentor, wife, and friend. She was truly one of a kind and is missed every day. We hope to honor and remember her during this mourning walk.
Stephy's Place has been through our side through it all. It is time to give back to a place that gives so freely and beautifully. It's the least we can do. I hope we can all learn to live how CJ & Sheraz did - happy, caring, and loving. We will never forget you, CJ & Sheraz. Please consider donating to such a beautiful cause.
The money raised will be used to continue to provide free peer support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one.
