In 2014, one of my dearest friends went through the most heart-wrenching experience imaginable. Her lovely daughter Lydia was born still, and she has courageously fought to raise awareness of this understudied tragedy. Through her grief, Heather Johnston Welliver and her family have planned an amazing 5k, which I am proud to support.

 

I am so excited to be participating in Lydie's Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth. Money raised from this event will be used to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.
