On Monday, November 10, 2014, I was 32 weeks pregnant when we found that our first child, Sadie Amelia, no longer had a heartbeat.  She was delivered 4 days later, and we have been missing her ever since.

 

I met Lydie's mom, Heather, through her blog as she was processing her own grief of her sweet girl, who passed a week before our Sadie.  We haven't met, but Heather has inspired me and helped me not feel so alone in my journey.

 

I am so excited to be participating in Lydie's Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth. Money raised from this event will be used to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.
