MY STORY
I am so excited to be participating in Lydie's Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth. Money raised from this event will be used to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.

Before Eloise was born still at 34 weeks, we never thought stillbirth was something that could happen to us. Her father didn't even know what a stillbirth was. Now we know it is all too common in the Unites States. 1 in 160 pregnancies will end in stillbirth. That's 26,000 a year. The numbers are staggering, especially when compared to many countries in Europe and Austrailia, where there is active research and results helping to reduce those numbers.

We were left completely helpless and devastated last June and had no idea what we could do to help prevent so many stillbirths from continuing to happen, but now there is a way. You can help by supporting Team Eloise Margaret Smith in trying to raise money for research and advocacy. Thank you.
