I am so excited to be participating in Lydie's Loop: Steps Against Stillbirth. Money raised from this event will be used to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.

 

I am excited because I want everyone to start talking about this, to get mad and demand change in the healthcare system. We need to focus on educating mothers, doctors and hospitals on stillbirth and signs, symptoms. On May 4, 2014 I lost my son Ephraim and was told, "This just happens". No other reason. After multiple tests were taken, we still found no answers, just more questions. I run for him today and think of him always! 

 

I hope you will run/ walk- either virtually or with us on October 1st!
