SUNDAY, October 8, 2023 

Schedule:

 

7:30 - 8:45 AM | Participant Check In & Bib Pick Up 

Participants should arrive at Edgewood Park and check in at the Coogan Pavilion 
where they will get their race bibs and further instructions for the race. 

 

8:45 - 9:00 AM | Kick-off Ceremony 

The HAVEN Free Clinic Board members will give some announcements and welcome participants to the 9th annual ¡ANDA 5K!

 

9:00 AM | The Race Begins!

Follow the course map and markings/signage through the park to complete to 5K course.

Please be mindful of other runners/walkers, as this is a there-and-back-again set up.

 

10:30 AM | Closing Ceremony 

Help us celebrate the end of the 5K with: 

Total Fundraising Amount Revealed, Top 3 Finishers Certificates Awarded, Top Individual Fundraiser Certificate Awarded,

Top Fundraising Team Certificate Awarded, & All Participant Raffles!

Registration

Registration closes at 12pm on Saturday, October 7th.

This allows us to assign your race bibs so you can track your finishing time and we can give out certificates to top finishers!

 

T-Shirt Pick Up 

If you ordered a t-shirt during registration, they are available to pick up at Campus Customs (57 Broadway, New Haven, CT 06511) from Thursday, September 28th until Saturday, October 7th at 5pm. If you are unable to pick up your t-shirt during the week, we will have the shirts for pick up at check-in. We will also have a few extra t-shirts on hand for purchase at the check-in table for those who missed the ordering cut-off and would like to have one, although stock is limited! 

 

Race Day Shuttle Bus

If you have signed up to take the shuttle bus from campus to Edgewood Park, the bus will be leaving

333 Cedar Street at 7:30am and will make a return service after the closing ceremony.

 

Parking 

Parking is available at Edgewood Magnet School and street parking is also available around the park itself. 

 

Food, Restrooms, Water, and Activities

Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the race and water stations are placed throughout the course. Restrooms will be accessible at the Coogan Pavilion. Raffles will take place for gift cards and certificates to local business and will include all registrants regardless of if you run, walk, or just come to support the event! 94.3 WYBC will be providing music and entertainment at the event.
